Position Overview

As a Bed Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of landscape beds. This includes weeding, mulching, pruning, edging, and other fine-detail tasks to keep beds clean and healthy throughout the season.

This position is part-time (23 days per week), with the opportunity for full-time hours if you're willing to assist with general landscaping tasks on the remaining days. This does not require any experience, we are absolutely willing to trains someone who prefers working outdoors and client satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain landscape beds (weeding, edging, pruning, deadheading, etc.)
• Mulch installation and light cleanup as needed
• Proper pruning of shrubs, perennials, and ornamental plants
• Monitor plant health and report issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites
• Work independently and efficiently with a high standard of quality

Work Schedule

• Part-Time Option (23 days/week):
• Flexible hours you can set your own schedule as long as you work 3 days per week during business hours (MondayFriday, 7am5pm)
• Full-Time Option (45 days/week):
• Includes 23 days of bed maintenance and 12 days assisting with general landscaping tasks

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or garden maintenance is a bonus, but not needed.
• Ability to identify weeds vs. desired plants is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to job sites
